Mother's Day at Elgin
This past Mother's Day, we had the absolute pleasure of setting up at S. Riverside Dr. Promenade, and what an experience it was! Everyone was on a mission to find something special.
One of our favorite parts of the day was watching little girls light up as they picked out their favorite pairs. There's something magical about seeing a child discover something they love, and we were thrilled to be part of those moments.
For the moms browsing our collection, we loved chatting about how handmade items bring that extra touch of care and uniqueness that you just can't find anywhere else. Hearing how our items are fun, new and different inspire us to keep doing what we're doing. We were moved by the appreciation of the skill behind the work. It was the kind of genuine, face-to-face connection that reminds us why we do what we do.
The day wasn't without its challenges—the wind picked up and got pretty strong, and before we knew it, our items were flying and our tents were lifting off the ground!

That's when the true magic of the market community showed up. Our lovely co-vendors didn't hesitate for a second. They rushed over to help, sharing their tent weights, holding our boards, and grabbing our items before they scattered. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and generosity in that moment.
A special shout-out to the incredibly talented Kate Crochet's for being such an amazing neighbor. If you see her and her team again at any of the markets, please make sure to drop by their booth and check out their creations—it's cuteness overload, and you won't regret it!
Thank you to everyone who visited us, supported us, and helped us through the windy moments. We can't wait to see you at the next market!
